Emotionally eating feels like a roller coaster ride you can not get off. You do really well for while and eat on your diet plan them bam you get stressed over a big move, job change, retiring whatever it is and now here you are again eating a whole bag of chips on your way home without even realizing it. You are at the checkout counter and the snickers is calling your name “you deserve it, you have been working so hard, stop depreviving yourself, you only live once, enjoy life”.
If you experienced deprivation as a child once you got out of that situation you were determined to never feel that way again so you ate and ate but now you don’t know how to stop. OR you learned at a young age to use food to comfort yourself and you think you should be able to stop this!
I’m April and I get it! I have been there and boy does is suck! It seems like every other area your life is going well but somehow you can’t kick this habit of emotional eating. I dig deep, get in there and see where this started and use some unique ways to help you deal with these feelings. I love to laugh and I like to see the brighter side even as we work through some really tough emotions. My passion is to help women just like you change how you relate to food and trust yourself with food again. I want you to eat when you are hungry and stop when you are full and be able to eat foods you enjoy. There can be balance here and I am here to help you find it!
